Undergraduate Student 

 

Emilia Schmidt is currently a 4th year student studying Fine Arts at the University of British Columbia Okanagan with a minor in Art History. Focusing in photography, Emilia explores the themes of time and abstraction through long exposure photography, which challenges the rationale of the viewer. Emilia is also very involved in filmmaking, specializing in documentary in particular. Most recently she co-produced, wrote, filmed and edited "The Natives are Shredding", a documentary about the West bank first nations snowboarding team.
